X and O Menu Play
My favorite thing I made was this chalkboard X and O menu. Rather than use a real chalkboard, I just cut a piece of black card stock to fit into an inexpensive picture frame. I painted a band of purple around the edge of the frame to give it some Ravens spirit. You can either use a white marker or chalk to create the football play menu. This idea is sure to be a conservation piece at your party.
Strawberry Footballs
Another fun thing to do is to make chocolate covered strawberries made to look like mini footballs. They not only look fun but they are delicious! Heat the chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time until melted, dip the strawberries and place them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set. Once the chocolate has hardened add the laces with icing. Place the skewers into a Styrofoam block to let them harden rather than putting them into a cup. I have learned from experience that the strawberries with move and tip over the cup or glass and mess up your smooth chocolate dipped strawberries.
