Graduation Cap Gift Box
I love wrapping gifts in a beautiful way that match the theme of the event. When I was invited to a graduation party, I thought it would be fun to make a graduation cap gift box matching the school colors. I looked up the school online to find out what colors I needed to use. I decided to use a lidded jewelry box so the gift wrap could also serve as a reusable box to hold graduation mementos. I went to the craft store and bought a piece of felt and embroidery floss. This graduation cap gift box cost less than two dollars and took less than 10 minutes to create.
Here’s how I made this graduation cap gift box.
I cut a cardboard square and a piece of felt the size of the square. I glued the square to the lid of the box and then attached the felt to the square with craft glue. I placed the lid back on the box and attached strips of felt and the bottom of the box. I created the tassel with embroidery floss used the same technique I did for my Graduation Cap Candle Holder. I attached the tassel and the gold button to complete this adorable gift box. It was a huge hit at the graduation party. It is a perfect gift box for a gift card or check.
