Easy DIY Light Suit
Here is an easy DIY Light Suit I made for my children’s elementary school’s talent show dance routine. I wanted to quickly create something that was inexpensive that I could put together in about 15 minutes for both costumes. I also didn’t want them to be permanent and destroy their clothes since they would only be using once. My children said the costumes were very comfortable and they didn’t interfere with their dance routine. The lights were dimmed on stage and when the curtain opened, all the audience saw were the dancing light suits! It was a huge success! I think I am going to add the same technique to their Halloween costumes to make them safe during trick or treating!
I created a short video tutorial on how I created these light suits. At the end of the video, you can see a clip of their light up dance. If you watch the video, let me know what you think.
