DIY Witch Decoration for Halloween Made From Household Items
Don’t be alarmed by the appearance of this scary DIY witch decoration for Halloween. This wicked witch adds a creepy charm to your Halloween decorations or Halloween party. She may look a little intimidating which adds an ominous tone to your celebration. She is easy to make using household items and inexpensive things from the craft store. Her head is made from an empty laundry detergent container and her skin from paper towels.
Materials used to make the DIY Witch Decoration
- Empty Laundry Detergent Container
- Paper Towels
- White Glue
- Green and Black Acrylic Paint
- Raffia
- Rhinestones
- Witch Hat

- Glue balled up paper towels to the laundry detergent bottle to for cheekbones, chin and nose.
- Cover the entire bottle with paper towels to give it texture.
- To do this, mix white glue with water to make a thick glue solution. Paint the white glue solution on to the bottle, cover with a layer of paper towels and paint the white glue solution over the paper towels.
- Let dry. This will give the witch a stiffer exterior.
- Paint the entire head green.
- Contour the face with black paint.
- Paint the mouth and eyes.
- Glue rhinestones on the eyes.
- Glue strands of raffia for the hair and add a hat.
