Learn how to easily make DIY Football Party Decorations for your next football party like these super cute inexpensive DIY football glasses. Using Dollar Tree football shaped glasses and multi-surface acrylic paint, you can make these fun football glasses to add to your Football Party Decorations.

It is a lot of fun to make themed parties for every event which is why I love to make DIY football party decorations to add to the fun of an already lively and exciting event like the Playoff or the Super Bowl. They can be used to serve beverages, filled with snacks for decorative containers or given as football party favors.

This Dollar Tree football glasses DIY is very cheap and easy to make because the glasses are $1. The only materials used to transform these football shaped glasses into footballs are the glasses, multi-surface craft paint and a natural sponge. The paint and the sponge can be purchased at craft store. The multi-surface craft paint can be used on glass and after it cures, it can be hand washed.

How to Make DIY Football Party Decorations – Football Glasses

Step 1 – Wash and dry glasses.

Step 2 – Add the two brown paints to a tray or a paper plate.

Step 3 – Dip the sponge into the lightest color paint and blot it on the plate to remove the excess.

Step 4 –  Lightly dab the sponge onto the glass to cover the bottom half with the light brown paint.

Step 5 – Lightly dab the sponge over the light brown paint to create the football color and texture.

Step 6 – Use the paintbrush to create the football laces.

Step 7 – Finish painting the laces and let dry. Follow the instructions for curing the glasses according to the multi-surface acrylic paint label.
