The nice thing about this DIY graduation decoration is can easily be customized for the school colors and mascot. Just change the paint and create flowers to match the colors of the school.
When I was designing this centerpiece, I wanted it not to be expensive to make and could easily be recreated by anyone who wanted to make this graduation decoration. I thought of using tissue boxes for the cubes because they can be easily painted and they had a hole in the top for the flowers.
I decided to make the flowers out of layered tissue paper because it is so easy to find in almost every color. I wanted the letters to be very sturdy and have some weight to them to anchor the boxes so they would be more stable. I thought the grad caps with tassel and the mascot added a nice touch to complete the graduation look.
